Was he born Hell?  I never did find the comics but as I recall, I heard he was a merge of Charles and Magneto.  Something cooked up by Apocalypse...  Caused some real headaches for the X-men for about 6 months and was even the final villian in the Marvel vs Capcom game.

Yes, he was a merging of Charles and Mags, but regardless, he was still "born" in the sense.

i know he is onslaught he is a pyschic creation of the two minds, anyway most powerful mutant is franklin richards who onslaught uses to take his form. And franklin richards later brings back all the mutants onslaught killed
