I sent a message this morning and below is the reply. Kind of bullshit there's no ETA. I still have 5 months in advance payment on the server, but might switch providers afterward.

I'm also working on finding an alternate server for us to use in case vent's still down for guild missions. Will keep you posted.

I say we ditch them when your payment's up, Try.
 
I think we should give them up as well.

When that expires, it may be a good time to give Raidcall a try. Excellent software for the price of free.

I might seriously consider Raidcall. This has pissed me off. Going on 20 hours of downtime

Vent can be down forever for all I care!

Would also be funny if Guildportal somehow goes down too.
 
Well, it's been down for 30 hours now. Still no ETA. They're doing a shit job of communicating what the problem is.

 Just go ahead and use raidcall man. Its not much different than vent mechanic-wise and its free, easy to use and quick to create. Furthermore, there isn't a limit for people based upon X. I think there may be a max limit to users per channel per time, but if so its pretty high. (I've been in RC groups with 60 people in them)

 Trust me man, save yourself the cash when your prepay runs out. 
 
Frooz, your post filled me with genuine human emotion. Thank you for reminding me I have that.

They said they will refund me the money. Waiting for the refund. Then we're getting set up with Raidcall, and the vent server will be our back up until the payment plan runs out in December.
