I hope you've been well. If you're wondering about VIndictive's GW2 leadership, we are still in disarray. Ghost has stopped responding to my texts, Olcan is baffingly still in a relationship with a human woman and Xai continues to go further down her rabbit hole of experimenting with illicit party drugs.
I, as always, continue to be the most well-adjusted of the leaders, thriving both spiritually and emotionally.
Moving on.
Because we're all still shell-shocked at the events of early May, leaving us unable to game together, I propose we all take some time to read together. That is why it is my pleasure to announce Vindictive's first attempt at a book club. Yay!
Every month, we will choose a book to read together and then gather on Teamspeak to discuss our thoughts on what we read. It will be a friendly, intellectual environment welcoming of ideas and even British people.
If it's OK with everyone, I decided I would take the initiative of choosing the first book.
I think many will be excited to join me in reading E.L. James' thrilling new erotic novel Grey, a continuation of her excellent 50 Shades of Grey series. This new novel is told from the perspective of the series' eponymous billionaire, Christian Grey. The Telegraph has titilatingly called it "about as sexy as a misery memoir and as arousing as the diary of a sex offender."
I'm sure many of you have your own copy by now, but if not, you can download it from the link at the end of this post. Our first meeting to discuss the novel will be on July 1 at 8 p.m. EST on Teamspeak. Myself and Krampus will also be doing dramatic readings of a chapter. Krampus will be Anastasia Steele.
