Want to run a dungeon? Check Calender on the website

So as per Jared's suggestion of organizing dungeon runs better, I want to use the website's Calender to help schedule runs for the guild. If you click the calender tab on the website, you might notice a bar running down the side called Project Vindictive. We used that in CoH to organize groups together.

I was thinking we can use that and the calender on the website to help coordinate dungeon runs, by allowing people to sign up for a certain Dungeon. Also, we can have back-up sign-ups, so that if people don't show up, someone else can take their place. We can use this for Bastion Stair runs to get people ready for Blood and Bile, and eventually, Lost Vale.

Also, anyone who wants to be a dungeon leader for certain nights please post in this thread so I can post your name up, and so people know who to contact. Your name will go in the Project Vindictive bar, which will now be renamed Dungeon Leaders.

We made extensive use of this in CoH, and it worked extremely well. What we also did there was give anyone calender permissions who wanted them for events. So if you want to be able to schedule events on the Vindictive website, just ask me, and I'll give you edit rights for the calender.

To get this to work though, we need to encourage as many people as possible to check the website regularly. So if members ask about getting into dungeon runs, tell them the place to get info is on the website, by just going to the Calender tab.

I think this is a great idea. After all, the calendAr is there for a reason

Like I said before, I think this is a great idea. Not only will it alleviate the various issues around getting into dungeon runs but I think it is a practical way to get folks who don't use the website at the moment to do so. That will of course allow for more cohesion as a guild.

I remember the front page used to have a little box saying all upcoming events that were happening in the guild. What happened to that anyway?

And +1 for the calender. Great idea.

So does anyone want to volunteer to be listed as a dungeon leader on a particular night?

You're not obliged to run it every time that day, but just so people know who to contact in case they want to get on the run, or you can have proper sign-up and back ups for your group!

I'll do it on Mondays for Blood and Bile at 9pm est! If that's okay. I'm off on mondays so i play almost all night, so just need to know if there are people willing to run on that day/time!?

I'll slot you in, and hopefully that'll get people to join you

Also Tai, I gave you events admin, so you can create events on the calender and have people join you. Be sure to advertise it though in-game and on the forums.
