What the fuck is everyone playing?

I played GW2 at release and over-did it, rushed 80 and got bored with the lack of competition to blow up in WvW. I stopped and haven't considered going back. I doubt I will.

What's everyone looking forward to? Or what else do y'all play otherwise? Is there an upcoming MMO that's making you splooge?

Over the past month or so I have been playing the hell out of archeage which I am still finding fun, goes into closed beta today so if you can nab a key I would recommend at least trying it.

Another game that you should look out for is everquest next, that might be something worth checking out but I haven't really looked too far into it so maybe someone else can attest to it being worth looking forward to?

I am in the same boat as you with GW2 I keep trying to go back but its really hard to get into the game when everyone else is so damn good

"Shall never be." Wat? Why?

I'm not sure on what the last news for Black Desert was, but for Blade and Soul it is "supposedly" in progress to be localized in NA, but that was said back in Dec 2012 [I think] and there has been no news since then. I think they're currently working on a Russian release, but most people predict it won't come here. In the profit margins NCSoft posted, it wasn't one of the top mmos like gw2 so yeah. SOB.

Yeah I vaguely remember hearing about both, but nothing more after the initial "HEY LOOK AT ME I'M A THING!" I'd play the shit out of that, too. Fuckin' Russians.

If you want to brave the ping and some traditional chinese you can play on the chinese servers with a barebones english patch my roommate and his gf used to play this all the time.

If you want to brave the ping and some traditional chinese you can play on the chinese servers with a barebones english patch my roommate and his gf used to play this all the time.

It wasn't worth it when I played on the Chinese servers but maybe it's better now. I'll have to remember to look it up later.

Edit: By "wasn't worth it" I meant playing on the Chinese servers. The game itself was pretty sweet. Just the lag and the shitty English patch that hardly covered anything made it annoying.

Yeah I figured. I was looking at some videos with the English patch and it was like just the opening stuff, some of the map names, and the button for Quest Completion that were translated. But yeah if you ever decide to try it out let me know, I'll join.

If the game actually turns out the way the Devs are describing it will be like, Everquest Next will make me splooge very much so. I will even get over the cartoony graphics instantly if what they say about it is true.
