Who's still playing WAR?

Just curious to see who's still playing WAR. It's been out for about three months since release now, and it looks like the game's going strong. It definitely didn't turn out to be the fluff piece AoC was. Granted WAR's not perfect, but considering it's been out for a while now, it's proven itself pretty well I think.

I ask, because well, I have a real interest in moving to this game. What do you guys think? I'm not overly impressed with Issue 13. Perhaps consult the awesomeness of my blog to sway your opinion.

Also, does anyone know when they plan to release buddy keys or a free trial for this game? Just so some people curious to try it but not wanting to buy it can give it a go.

Im up for anything, id like to be able to try it out before i purchase it though. I13 will be chasing me away im afraid.

Yea, I reactivated my CoH account the other day as well, and just like you I'm pretty disappointed.  I thought i13 might be somewhat fun with the 2 new powersets and I was curious about all the changes.

Fuck, I was disappointed when I realized that the powersets weren't really new, they were "new."  Different cosmetics, maybe different sound effects, but the whole freaking game in general was getting repetitive and no uber powersets, no matter how different, is going to change that.

Yea, I'm thinking of moving to WAR if it's still going strong.
 
I myself still ahve my WAR account rolling strong.  I love WAR muchso and wouldn't mind if we really get moving with that one too.  i13 is kinda disappointing since it's how many months of what?  Crap?  Some mediocre story arcs that are soloed in like half an hour?  Some powersets that are 'ok'?  Not to mention the bizarre PVP crap or the inconsistent Devs plans.

I still like CoH myself, but hell, I will totally play with everyone on WAR and spend most of my time there.
 
I canceled my CoH account last night while you guys were doing your Pain Dom super team. I find that when Jared and I have only one gaming machine I generally play a lot less and am generally less interested in playing. Also, I was getting a bit tired of the repetitiveness of the game in general.
 
I want to play warhammer, but it comes down to I don't really care to start over again, and pay $50 for the game, and then quit in a few months when SW: The Old Republic comes out. But I am interested in the game, it looks fun, and I may go dual games War and SWTOR. As for COX, it's been going down the toilet the whole time I've been playing. There are new features a plenty, but new content has been sparce. And most of the new content has been beating up more of the same... They have proven time and time again that they don't think like their own players, and they never learn from any mistakes made. The next failure is even more epic than the last... I can understand instant missions being bugged, if it was some wierd thing that didn't happen on test, but sudenly cropped up on live, but it took them EIGHT HOURS TO FIGURE OUT THERE WAS A PROBLEM. And that's a really big damn problem, and then to have BAB's bitching about the players being impatient afterwards...................................... I've lost all patients with them now.

We need more people to see this thread and comment on what they think. Direct people from the SG or tell them so wee can get more opinions
 
Yeah, I'm starting to feel the same about CoX after coming back. Same crappy content even after i13 and nothing to wow you and get excited about. I might be moving on again from CoX. I'm thinking my choices at the moment are either going to Warhammer until SWTOR comes out. I know when it does I'm there with bells on.  Praying Sony doesn't purchase SWTOR from Bioware.

I may come back to War also, I13 was about the lamest thing I've ever seen..and all I did was one arena match :/

My account expired. But I'm willing to go back if the rest of the group decides they want too as well. Not going to go off with a handful of people like WoW and AoC. Gonna make sure it's a 100% backed decision if we do anything.

Sounds good.....I've been pretty good myself. Been stuck on Spore, it's been pretty fun making stuff on there. I just realized tonight that my War account was still active, right after I canceled both my CoX accounts. Huh so basically I been paying for 3 mmo's for who knows how long now and not even playing:/ Actually my FFXI account might still be active too....thanks Aemon!

That won't be happening. EA owns Bioware. EA bought Bioware, because of the know collaboration between Lucas Arts and Bioware on a new MMO, without know a thing about it. They wanted in on it so bad, that they basically let the owners of Bioware name their price. I don't see EA letting go of it, and to the software giant that is EA would be a huge dent even in Sony's account.
 
So who else has opinions about Warhammer Online? Like I said, I want to move Vindictive there, but not until I get everyone's opinions
 
I guess I missed my point in the last post. If Jared and I end up getting a second computer, I'm all for WAR. If not, *shrug*

So pretty much you can't play War till...NEXT YEAR??! LOLOLOLOL!  Should've asked me, Imagikan.  The Circuit City down my street is practically giving them away and I wouldn't mind mailing it to you for a low fee of 7bucks for 3days!
