Xai's Adventure in Wildstar

So I thought I'd share some screenshots of my time in Wildstar.

First off here's my character. I'm a mechari stalker from the glorious empire known as the Dominion.

Here's a boss selfie of me on my pod racer [Uniblade mount]

Also if you couldn't tell from that last screenshot, Illium is very pretty.

We may or may not have giant warbots patrolling the area at all times.

I went with the explorer path which means I get to have extra missions involving secret rooms/areas, races [of sorts], great views from vistas, etc. Here's me getting the last thing for my Scavenger hunt.

Combat is pretty fluid. There's no rooting from what I can tell. Some skills use "Suit power" in order to cast indicated by the red bar. Beneath that is the health[green]/shield[blue] bar. I haven't really figured out what determines which will take the damage, but I still think it's pretty cool.

And I'll end this post with a pic of my house. Awww yeah. Housing yeeeya.

Is this game fun? I'm not a fan of the WoW in space vibe, but everything else sounds right up my alley.

edit: inb4 ESO fanbois

I played this in beta a few weeks ago and had a very good time. I am definitely pre-ordering this in case ESO does not work out for me.

I have it preordered and I really liked it personally. I wasn't crazy about the art style when I first heard about it, but it grew on me and I really like it now. There were only two things that I didn't really care for. Firstly the "Challenges." It's kinda like events in GW2, only they seem to pop up more often and it's a loud announcement when it activates. I'm not sure if there's a way to turn off the notification for it, but I have gotten really good rewards out of them so it's not like they aren't worth doing. The other thing I wasn't very wild about was the crafting system. It doesn't bother me too much cuz I've never really been into crafting, but the system is a lil meh....simple, but meh.
Otherwise I think it's a really fun game. Combat is very mobile [only class that I saw that had rooting was Esper.] There's a lot of customization [only place there isn't is in character creation with body types.] Paths are actually pretty fun and can be quite useful. For example Settlers can spawn booth stations or repair for their team while in dungeons and Scientist can make portals for teammates to use to warp to their position.
