edit: the way Nardwuar lets this Human Musical Encyclopedia wax reminiscent and then says one line that opens another can of worms, and then continuously blows his mind with his research and preparedness... Geekgasm.

This is definitely one of my favourite Nardwuar interviews and I was waiting for it for a long time. I think if I ever met Questlove I would just be like "can you just talk and I'll sit here and listen."

edit: also, as an aside, it really pisses me off when people are dicks to him. Because he's one of the best researchers in the industry and it's a PRIVILEGE to be interviewed by him. I've noticed a lot of the time it seems to be rock dudes that treat him like shit and hip hop artists figure out his act much quicker. Self important dickwads.

I've seriously completely stopped listening to certain artists after bad interviews. You can't go back from that. (And vice versa. That's the power of Nardwuar.)
