The only thing I don't like is the way they did racial skills/passives. There's more of them and they seem to give more combat utility than you would see in most other games. I'll end up being torn between appearance and min/maxing perks that are race specific for the class that I want to build. Of course, I don't even know how I want to build yet so meh.

Well I got the invite too so I'm downloading the game now. I clicked the link to find out which "group" I'm assigned to and from what I can tell it said

I have to work tonight unfortunately so I won't be able to play right away...also have to work Sat and Sun night :x but I'll be playing when I can. The beta happens to fall on my weekend to work as I get alternating weekends off. My user ID is sororsrca and when I get in game my first character will be named Emry

sidenote: Is it just me or does this kinda look like a boob? ).

Any way, this was a super close poll, so I'm leaving the poll up for two more hours, and you can change your vote. 11AM PST/ 2pm EST.

Hey guess what? Chivas is a really good budget scotch. I learned that shit last night. A little TOO good. :oops:

That guy actually has lists for all the other skills too like classes, weapons, guild, armor, etc. You can see the index at the beginning of the post I linked and all his other ones. The nice thing about his lists compared to say...Tamriel Foundry, is that he has the numbers for the skills. For example, how much damage/healing it does, the cooldown, the cast time, and what not. Granted, these are all subject to change because it's beta but it's a nice starting point for those who want to start thinking about builds.

Same, I can't get past the "Requesting character load..."

Then I get kicked out just to log in and try again.
 
I managed to play a bit and get out of the starting spot on the beach where it's so laggy from all the players being in one spot but now the server crashed again. :(
 
wow...this sux lol...I started downloading before I went to work and here it is 9 hours later and it's at *drumroll* 19%

at this rate I'll be lucky to get it downloaded this weekend :lol:

guess I'll keep it going all night too, maybe it will hit 25% by morning :/
 
ok so finally got the game downloaded this morning and clicked play, now at login I'm getting error 301 "can't connect to server" (story of my life)

I look it up to see what the deal is and apparently a lot of other people are having the same issue. the support says "due to high volume of login attempts, please wait 10 minutes and try again. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

are you guys having trouble playing the game?
