I needed something to fill the void of holiday music in my life, so I'm auditioning Christmas Songzas. Today's flavor (and boy does it have some, har har) is called Xmas Rap, and so far it's getting a 4 out of 5 jingle bells from me, with these highlights:

I had odd romantic dreams about Iron Man last night. Therefore, you get a double feature today! Yay!

Our first offering is a gem from the past. The whole song is there but last half of the video is silence; ignore it. It was installed 'after market.'

Next up is something only about a year old, but that I hadn't heard until last week. Totally stuck on it. It reminds me of something but I can't quite figure out what. Also, this dude is pretty hot, right? Such hair envy.

Oh mah GAWD! We're wearing the same dress? How embarrassing! I swear, you get ONE cute thing from the rack and then suddenly there are three people running around with the same thing on at the same party.

In all seriousness, that video is undeniably glorious. It should be on permanent rotation in more music libraries. This video is closely linked to that, and, I think, equally as amazing.

I saw Hozier play at the Rivoli in Toronto in May just before he blew up and it was an incredible experience. He's only playing bigger venues now, glad I decided to go to that show beardedhipsteremoji
